Recently Zion’s Watchmen Free SDA completed a series of Bible study courses with individuals who had requested them. Here are the students receiving their certificates after completing the courses. These Bible studies are part of the great gospel commission. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19, 20.
Brother Alan was ordained as a deacon at Zion’s Watchmen Free SDA Church by Pastor Evon Walker and Elder Hector Figueroa. The appointment of officers in the church is a work that was ordained by Christ. Since ordination originates from God; Brother Allan’s calling is one that comes from God first and is also recognized by the body of believers. We will pray for Deacon Allan as the Lord continues to advance His work in each of our lives. Pray for all the leaders at Zion’s Watchmen Free SDA Church.
Welcome! Here is a recent worship service at Zion’s Watchmen Free SDA Church. Why do we worship together of the Seventh-day Sabbath? It was a day set aside by God during Creation for worship and communion with God. This day was enshrined in the 10 Commandments as the day for all believers. And Jesus left us the example when keeping holy the Seventh-day Sabbath. Come and join us in obedience to God and let us keep God’s special day holy. Plan on joining us this next Sabbath!
Recently, Zion’s Watchmen Free SDA Church participated in a Sabbath Agape Feast at a local park in West Palm Beach, FL. Whenever weather permits we try to make the Sabbath a delight as the Lord has instructed us to. Sabbath is a time of fellowship, study, praise and worship in the beauty of nature. Come join us and partake of all the blessings that God has for those who love Him. “If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 58:13, 14.
Left to Right: Elder Andrew Hylton, Sister Michelle, Pastor Evon Walker and Elder Hector Figueroa. We welcome Sister Michelle into our fellowship as a new member of the body of Christ. We are pleased that she has chosen to make this decision to follow Christ all the days of her life. Her joining with us is truly a time of rejoicing at Zion’s Watchmen Free SDA Church. We praise and thank God. We also want to encourage and exhort her to stay faithful to her promise to follow Christ.
Recently Zion’s Watchmen Free SDA Church had the privileged welcoming into the family of God, through baptism, a precious soul for whom Christ died for. This wonderful service was officiated by Pastor Evon Walker as he follows the gospel commission given to us by Christ: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Matthew 28:19.
We would like to thank Pastor Jeremy Stone and his wife Stacy for visiting with us this past Sabbath. They came all the way from Arizona to be with us and presented messages that were timely and inspiring. Pastor Stone spoke on he importance of missions and on the spiritual aspects of the health message.
“God has given us light in regard to the things that are now taking place in the last remnant of time, and with pen and voice we are to proclaim the truth to the world, not in a tame, spiritless way, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power of God” (Evangelism, 121).
On December 22, 2016 we were able to publish an ad in the local paper, the Lake Worth Tribune. The ad contained the Three Angels’ Message and was sent to over 22,500 homes in the city of Lake Worth and surrounding areas. This was a wonderful opportunity to get the message out to our local area.
